GETTING OFF MY LAZINESS HAI HAI

Friend posted this on fb. I thought it was funny and sad.. Although what this video outlines doesn't actually point to someone being a "Shitty artist" (more like "how to tell if someone still has a lot to learn".. this felt more like some random ranting about how they're sick of seeing unprofessional artists /swt), I think it points out bad flaws and habits with my drawing practices.. >_________>



Out of the 50, I'm going to make a list to gradually cross off.. Hopefully in the future, they won't apply anymore D8

04. They always draw heads and faces.
05. Their characters always face the same way.
06. The proportion is awful.
07. Every character looks the same.
08. They draw same faces with different hairs.
09. The characters' angle and direction are very odd.
13. They always draw one character. (no more than two characters in a single canvas)
14. They always draw characters in the same angle.
15. All of their characters have the same facial expressions.
16. Static and passive poses. They can't draw characters in dynamic poses.
17. They never draw feet.
18. They can't draw figures from high or low angles.
20. A shitty figure drawing in dynamic pose can be turned into a 4th Dimensional abstract. _{(I LIKE THIS ONE, LOL.)}
21. Same characters looks totally different when it is drawn in different angle or direction.
24. They don't know how to draw old people.
25. They don't know how to draw hands. (.. still not confident in this area..)
27. The idea sketch is professional but actual quality is shitty.
29. Their works are always asymmetrical. (.. wha?.. will work on that anyway..)
31. Rough sketch = Finished piece
40. They are not patient enough to practice.
43. They are more than willing to draw but they lose the spirit so easily.
45. They draw once a month or even once a year.
48. They don't have faith in themselves.
