Procrastinator.

I need to get fired from this occupation, because I'm too good at it.

As an Unprofessional Musician.

My piano is not just a piano; it is a diary, a blog, a listener, and a resonator.

Any sort of true, dedicated musician would perhaps understand that performing music is more than what comes to the general mind when we say it is "a way of expressing oneself".
Sure, that is what it comes down to in a nutshell, but like everything else, that's no more than scratching the surface.

When you play an instrument, and when you are playing music, you not only physically interact with the instrument, but intimately weave it with whatever you want to pour into it selectively; be it emotions, feelings, thoughts, messages, or just everything.
This, referred to be the "interpretation", determines how the performed music sounds like.

When I am playing music for myself, it is much like writing a diary entry, or ranting on a blog.

When I am playing music for someone else, throughout the whole of it, I sincerely hope that all of what I want to give gets successfully transferred to the listener. In other words; transmit a glimpse of an experience interleaved within the music.
My concentration is on the execution of every note(this probably sounds naive), making sure they are sounded properly, considering both the presence and the absence of sound. It is similar to capturing a photograph - the photographer manipulates light to produce the intended image. The difference between the two is that when playing music, all of which has been said above happens sort of passively. The music and the interpretation are one but two separate things. One may play the instrument physically, but one performs with their heart.

People sometimes feel that a certain song really captures them, reaches into them, speaks for them, and evokes other strong enough emotions to perhaps pull out some tears. This maybe is when they successfully establish a connection with the music through - I guess the right word is - sympathy. It is through superior interpretation, that makes it possible.

Now I'm sleepy. Concluding entry for now. 8|
